Episode 190 – Music for Prayer, Soaking Worship, Meditation, Relaxation, Rest, and Studying Today’s piano instrumental interlude is called “Kingdom Come”. This episode is around 10:30 long and has a lingering, peaceful mood. I used my special group of solo piano and shimmering, warm pads to create this ethereal soundtrack. There isn’t a rigid, defined melody in this piece. As I improvised, I wanted to feel the sense of staring, in awe, at the mysteries and wonder of the God of the universe. I imagined a glimpse into heaven. I imagined the wonder of the colors, the sounds, and the feelings that we may experience in heaven. I remembered that Jesus taught us to pray, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”. As you listen to this soothing piano instrumental interlude, allow the Kingdom of God to become real to you. Sense God’s peace, His Presence, and the awareness of His Holy Spirit as you pray, meditate, or worship.
